Skidmore Encore returns this fall!
Skidmore Encore returns! Join us this fall for the popular lecture series Skidmore Encore! Since 1980, the series has featured the remarkable Skidmore College faculty delivering lively presentations on a broad array of topics with themes that change weekly. Registration is open to those age 55 and over from across the local region.
The Program: The 2024 series is held in the gorgeous Arthur Zankel Music Center on seven consecutive Tuesdays from October 1 through November 12. The daily schedule is:
- Coffee, tea, and scones available in the lobby between 9:15 and 10:00 AM.
- Lectures from 10:15 AM to 12:20 PM. You will hear two 45-minute lectures each day and engage in a 10-minute interactive question-and-answer period following each lecture. A detailed schedule of presenters and topics is on the Skidmore Encore schedule website.

Lunch after the program is optional. Here are some possibilities:

o Taste of Saratoga (new!): Meet in the lobby after the lectures, self-form into a small group with others, and head downtown for self-pay lunch at a restaurant of your choice. You choose the restaurant and your dining companions. Meet friends old and new! Discuss the lectures with other Encore participants!
